Running around the block, lifting weights, gardening, deep cleaning a corner, cooking, crocheting, the list is endless. Whatever gives your mind a reset and soul a dose of rejuvenation is your sanctuary. Your intimate zone where it’s just you and your thoughts alone.
Whatever your mode of work; stay wary of the propoganda that retirement is the period to fulfill one’s dreams. I am fully supportive of retirement but since life is here & now why wait. Rather live your dreams today onwards.
A lot of our time (& resources) would be drained by the time we turn 60 – loss of muscoskeletal strength, cognitive alertness and even finances which would have been aptly spent in raising a family. One thing in plenty would be time at hand and the will to spend it your own way; but the folks to spend it with maybe handful, or sadly even none 💔
Let’s start living our passions, dreams, hobbies and endeavours from today. Better start a 10% today than wait a 100% for later!
