  • Filling your own cup first

It’s never too much when you prioritize yourself and your hobbies before others.

Ask yourself what roles you play and surely you’ll name everything but not thyself. We are tuned to seeing life from a Point of View of others and not oneself. While in reality the locus lies within. Hence I comes before anyone else, before any other relations.

A well oiled and cared for machine serves better and lasts longer than one which has been tirelessly put to use but unserviced. Thus when we care for things, they care for us. The same holds for our body, mind and soul. We can be a better functioning human when our we fill our cups first and foremost.

  • To die or to live?!

We know how much we love our kids as parents, right to the moon and back. We say we would die for them!

What if I asked you to be braver and live for them? Be a stronger you by exercising everyday for them? Be a calmer you by meditating for them? Stay cleaner from food and drugs for them?

    Strong foundations for future

Now that’s the courage if you love your kids and wish to be there for them in their growing years. Alive, kicking and being able to keep pace with the generation’s choices. Leave a legacy not a liability!

  • Make space for YOU

Can we ever pour into others if we don’t pour into ourselves? Ofcourse not. You have been paving the way, breaking barriers, leading with impact and creating space for your loved ones. Seen or unseen your contributions are your strength.

Don’t let the noise steal your thunder

To continue on this path of nurturing, care and creativity, prioritizing self care is a necessity. Whether it’s stealing a quiet moment, leaning on your community or saying no to guard your well being : we can’t progress until we are strong. And to be strong lift yourself from the shackles of being a ‘yes woman’.

Remember you deserve the same care and grace that you give to others! ❤️

  • Just keep the love

Love struck or love lost, whatever your state of mind,

Remember you own it, it’s you first so be kinder of kind.

You do you but do me a favour, just keep the love.

Like a kid, always riding high with zeal & joy,

Not to be bogged down by a lost toy.

You do you but do me a favour, just keep the love.

Some would walk in, some would walk out,

But life shall go on, have zero doubt.

You do you but do me a favour, just keep the love.

After all it begins and ends with you, yourself,

Thereby highs or lows, be the best version of yourself.

You do you but do me a favour, just keep the love.

  • Romance for the single souls?

Is being romantic only the territory of couples? How can singles keep the romance in life alive?

Romance is nothing but a feeling of mystery and excitement, often associated with love. It takes you away from everyday life and builds a sense of remoteness.

Love yourself  – Spend time your own way without any shackles or constraints. Unhinged and unabashedly keep aside a few minutes everyday to spend time the way you like, not dictated by your daily routine, chores or family commitments.

Prioritize yourself – Hobbies, food, outfits, events. The choice is yours and only yours. Guard it selfishly, cos if you don’t decide for yourself then others would!

Keep your network alive – Whether it is friends, family or colleagues keep in touch and invest your time in nurturing these for the future. After all no man’s an island (or woman for that matter).

In short enjoy the little things in life. Sans anyone. Be the best companion you can ever get, full of positivity and strength. Trust me, no one can do it for you!
