    Kate who?

  • Breaking free

A child learns majorly at home. A young adult is influenced by the university attended. & an early career working adult gets shaped by the organization’s work ethos. While formal learning ends, informal nurturing is a life long process. Place of residence, religious cult, immediate community of identity add to the myriad colours of one’s personalities.

An individual mustn’t be bound by what comes to him. He should rather seek. Seek without holding back. Seek new experiences, a diverse set of people, adventurous food choices and sometimes even an unlikely choice of clothing. It brings eye opening lessons, intellectual stimuation and a variety to mundane routine life. Be a sponge and soak it up, better late than never!

  • Lost & Found

    A journey of rediscovery.

The songs she didn’t listen to, the movies she didn’t see. The books she overlooked, the friends she skipped to check in on.

Was she busy building her life or hiding behind a tough exterior? Ofcourse she was running away, from herself, her thoughts and her own being.

Take that first step, free yourself from the burden of the past. Speak, hear, sob, laugh. Live it all; past, present and future. Liberate yourself and others from the unsaid. All would be lost yet found. ♥️

  • Marriage : From Label to Libel

Its a dying institute many say in today’s information era. Same was said for the institution of family in the industrial era. Without making a case for either, it would be interesting to explore how it’s evolving in the new-age society.

To most it starts as a societal label which formalizes your relationship. Establishing credibility for your adulthood. Being a passport to freedom, to decision making (& owning them too).

To a few its a libel, even if it’s a sour sanguine relationship, they want to live it up till death do us apart. Just to live upto the label, they are putting up with the discomfort of a libel.

Leaving aside the peer pressure (which is manifold in the digital era), what matters is what matters most in life, to you. Label or libel, if it’s dear then put your might behind it. If not, then the world is your home, be a free bird. Irrespective of what you choose, remember public memory is always effervescent.

  • Growing, away

Growth is always associated with positivity, prosperity and success. While we know it comes from a place of discomfort, can growth it self have a negative connotation?

Yes, if it gets to your head. Takes you away from your core principles. Makes you that individual you despised or made fun of while on your climb upwards.

Yes, if it takes you away from your heart and the people who reside in it. Makes you feel resentment for those who you chose to keep and those who chose to be your cheerleaders.

So grow, evolve, transform. May it fulfill all your dreams and desires. But do hold your head and heart closer to your inner core than ever before. Amen!

  • Simple. Powerful. Profound.

That’s the power of simplicity. Applied to design principles or lifestyle masterclass – the impact it brings remains unchanged.

Less decision-making, lower chaos. Easy to organize, simple to share. Enhanced mindfulness, more here & now moments.

Simpler, cleaner, better designs lead to profound living. Have less, do more. Consume less, contribute more. Spend less, create more. Where you are in cruise control mode of your life rather than letting life happen to you.

  • Meditation

Meditation is like a crash course of digital detox for the busy nomad. A few moments of quiet every day for the overstimulated modern mind. A cocoon of silence, letting to rediscovery of oneself.

Allowing a cleansing of mind, purification of soul. A concious breathing and presence of being alive.
Intentional living begins when restlessness dissipates. The mind gets clear, making way for peace from busyness and chaos.

  • Trouble in Paradise

“You are the love of my life”, said Eve when her eyes first met Adam’s. Love bloomed and the rest is history. Had they gotten married or co-lived, that’s when ‘its complicated’. Especially when the Eve wants the Adam to be as evolved, in tune with what’s in and become the man of her dreams. Not to forget she felt she had met the man of her dreams but then familiarity breeds contempt, doesn’t it?

  • Doom Tourism

Imagine you reach your childhood dream destination only to find out its a 360 degree change from what you read about it in school books! And mankind continues to expand carbon footprint, this gap would only shorten from a few decades to maybe within a decade.

Not recent news but the illustrations of this hypothetical situation are plenty irl. Take the amazing coral cluster ‘Great Barrier Reef’ at Australia or the Amazonian forests or the melting polar capsicum. Even the wildlife in the African grasslands is growing scantier ever turn of the decade.

So do we all turn Greta Thunberg in our own rights? Yes. Do we save our dream destinations and bucket list landscapes for future? No. Travel light, travel responsibly and travel now!

  • Sanctuary

Not the kinds where you seek asylum. But the kinds where you find inner peace. Tranquility. Serendipity.

Running around the block, lifting weights, gardening, deep cleaning a corner, cooking, crocheting, the list is endless. Whatever gives your mind a reset and soul a dose of rejuvenation is your sanctuary. Your intimate zone where it’s just you and your thoughts alone.
